Upkeep and sharpening of eyeliner

Before sharpening your eyeliner, try striking a match to the dull tip for 2/3 seconds (be sure not to burn the wood, you'll know if you hear a spark) then proceed to sharpen your eyeliner immediately afterwards.

This helps it run smooth. Results will vary upon different brands.
