Licking envelopes

Ok - not sure if this is a rumor or a true story, but I heard recently that there was a secretary that had always licked the envelopes that she was sending out in the office. Her tongue had swollen up after some days had passed and they thought she was allergic to something but as it turns out - she licked the envelopes and there were cockroach eggs on the gum and they were growing in her tongue.

I will never lick another envelope or stamp again..... Just a thought - use a wet paper towel, a wet sponge or a wet roll on liquid to seal your envelopes for your own protection.
