Red wine

• Recently I witnessed a friend of mine remove some red wine that she had spilled on her shirt with none other than...white wine! One of nature's perfect combinations, I guess. A few days later I dripped some plum juice on my shirt and tried the white wine removal method, and sure enough the spot disappeared--its not only for red wine. I'm guessing that the acidity of white wine gives it amazing stain removal powers similar to those of vinegar. Its probably a little pricey to start using as a household cleaner, though.
  
  
• I read that using carbonated water on colored liquid and dabbing it up with a clean cloth would be a great way to remove stains as well. Works well with kool aid and orange soda.
