litter box smelling fresh

Here's what I've found to be helpful for keeping my cats' (it's plural now! Got a new kitty who was left on the vet's doorstep) litter box smelling fresh.

-Scoop urine and poops out frequently...more frequently for 2 or more cats.

-Use charcoal padding or charcoal air filters in the box.

-Sprinkle baking soda in with the litter when needed.

-Sprinkle cedar chips in with the litter when needed.

-Clean and hose the box out a couple times a year.

-Use a natural air spritzer in the box (orange works well) when needed.
